Your Spa Experience

The Power to Heal Begins Within.  Honoring the distinctive cultures and traditions that represent genuine Santa Fe, the Spa at Loretto takes a respectfully holistic approach to the art of massage therapy and well-being. Embracing the healing traditions of Native American spiritual healers, the Spa at Loretto is an urban sanctuary dedicated to healing, education, and mind, body and spirit renewal.

The allure of the Spa at Loretto takes gentle hold as soon as you cross the threshold into a peaceful enclave where drifting aromatherapy scents linger and the body and mind are soothed by a sense of well-being. A calming palette of earth tones, natural woods and stone elements accentuate antique furnishings, hand-carved cabinetry, beaded sconces, and a candlelit kiva fireplace. Softly lit candles flicker in the distance while chandeliers illuminate the way to a place where natural healing and indulgent pampering begins.

Five spacious suites and a couples' suite are elegantly appointed with hand-carved Mexican cabinets with hot-stone basins, massage tables, soft microfiber table linens, woven textiles and fresh flowers. Select suites feature antique, claw-footed soaking tubs, a pipeless pedicure station and a Wet Room with cascading Vichy showers for the ultimate in water-based body treatments, scrubs and wraps.

In harmony with Santa Fe's natural healing and therapeutic powers, the Spa at Loretto features a spiritual line of Intuitive Lifestyle treatments that compliment its existing breadth of indulging services. From ancient global rituals to indigenous body treatments, each treatment integrates age-old remedies, healing herbs and natural oils used by Native American spiritual healers to promote self-healing, tranquility and inner balance.

Join us in the Spa at Loretto for a genuine Santa Fe body, soul and mind experience! To book a reservation, please contact us at 505-984-7997.

Spa for a Cure

The Inn and Spa at Loretto recently hosted their Spa for a Cure event to help local, first-time marathoner, Cherilyn Swenson, reach her $5,000 fundraising goal for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Swenson will be running the Nike Women's Marathon, Oct. 18 in San Francisco with her Santa Fe-based Team in Training running group.

The spa event, held Sept. 22, included mini spa treatments, wine and appetizers, raffle gifts like a plush bathrobe and a couples' spa getaway, a complimentary spa bag, and guest speakers who shared their inspiring stories. The Inn and Spa at Loretto donated the space, the therapists donated the time and all of the prizes were donated from various local businesses, totaling more than $10,000 in donations for the event.  Read all about the story behind this event in this New Mexico Free Press article.
