Precious Pets Find Creature Comforts at The Inn and Spa at Loretto

We are proud to be a pet friendly resort. Pet-lovers are able to truly escape, soaking up the sun, while keeping dogs and cats comfortably accommodated in our spacious rooms. We'll even give Fido a special treat at check in.

Santa Fe loves its pets. There is one dedicated dog park, the Frank Ortiz Park, with more being discussed. In town, many of the shop owners have water bowls in front of their stores to keep your pet comfortable while out and about. There are many hiking trails in and around town which makes it very easy to get out for a walk with your dog. From the river trail along Alameda to the Dale Ball Trail System in the foothills on the edge of the city to the Santa Fe County rail trial that runs along the railroad tracks and connects with the Arroyo Chamisa Trail to the many other trails in the foothills and the Santa Fe National Forest.

The following pet policies apply:

• The Inn and Spa at Loretto allows Cats and Dogs only, with Dogs weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Pets are invited to stay in any most room types and are not permitted in public areas where food and drink are served, including Luminaria and The Living Room.
• Pets may be in the lobby, corridors, and elevators if in carrier or on a leash.
• Pets must have supervision when not in guest room at all times. It is preferable to the resort that when the guest is not present in the guest room, the pet is crated/caged.
• When Housekeeping goes to clean the guest room with a pet in residence, the owner MUST be present, and preferably, the pet is crated. Housekeeping will not clean a guest room without the owner present.
• A $20 pet fee will be applied daily per room. 
• We do not allow snakes and other exotic pets.

Considerations 

The Inn and Spa at Loretto charges a daily $12 resort fee which includes local and toll-free calls, daily housekeeping fee, newspaper, internet access, "to-go" morning coffee in the restaurant, and use of the fitness center.

The Inn and Spa at Loretto offers valet parking for the convenience of our guests. The nightly fee is $18. Self parking in Santa Fe is limited but is available to guests who prefer to park off property.
