Wine Spectator, America's leading wine appreciation magazine has honored Luminaria Restaurant & Patio with their "2009 Award of Excellence". The Award of Excellence, according to Wine Spectator, is given to restaurants whose wine lists offer a carefully chosen selection of "quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style."

Happy Anniversary Luminaria
We are pleased and honored to celebrate the one year anniversary of Luminaria's grand opening. Luminaria is a modern restaurant and patio influenced by Santa Fe's past. Inspired by New Mexico's first inhabitants, the Anasazi ‘Children of the Light,' Luminaria's design, décor and cuisine illuminate the dining experience at the Inn and Spa at Loretto.
We want to extend our appreciation for all of you for dining with us over this past year. We have enjoyed getting to know you and look forward to serving you in the future.
Whether you have dined with us before or not, we hope you will join us for dinner tonight to help us celebrate.

Lumiaria Team At Local Chef's Gala
Luminaria was proud to attend the annual Chef’s Gala at the Scottish Rite Temple on Thursday, July 16. Chef’s Gala is a charity event with the proceeds going to the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival. Approximately 10 other restaurants were there as well. Each restaurant was designated to one table of 11 people. Chef Cooper and his team prepared a four course meal which included Ancho Crusted Scallops, duck breast, fig and chorizo stuffed Berkshire pork chop, and chocolate tres leches and cinnamon ice cream. Each course was prepared with wonderful wine pairings to compliment the flavors from the meal. A great time was had by all and we were honored to be part of this wonderful Santa Fe tradition!

Luminaria Turns One!
Luminaria officially turns one on July 23, but the Inn and Spa at Loretto invites you to celebrate the entire month with two "23" inspired deals. Chef Cooper has assembled a "Cena Pronto" prix fixe menu featuring a three-course selection including a variety of choices for guests to build their personalized first, entrée and dessert dining experience. The Cena Pronto features local favorites such as Luminaria's award-winning tortilla soup, duck confit white corn tamale, organic house made mushroom ravioli, ancho bbq shrimp, chocolate explosion cake and more. This specialty menu will be offered 5-6 pm daily for $23, a $7 per person value. Enjoy outdoor dining on the patio and live weekend entertainment in the Living Room Lounge. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Artist in Residence - Stephen Day 7/17 and 7/18
The Inn and Spa at Loretto is pleased to announce the return of its Artist in Residence Program. In partnership with The Peterson-Cody Gallery, this wonderful event showcases talented artists with an established national and/or wide regional reputation. Enjoy a glass of wine in the Inn's Living Room and watch artists as they create a special piece during their two day visit from 4pm until 7pm each day.

The Inn and Spa at Loretto is celebrating summer with great Specials!
The Living Room has the perfect way to cool down from the summer heat - enjoy fresh fruit red or white sangria in the Lounge or by the patio pool. Sangria is $5.00 per glass from 2:00pm until 11:00pm Monday thru Thursday for the month of July.
The Spa is also celebrating the month of July with their Spa Happy Hour featuring a Manicure, Mini Facial, and a glass of fresh fruit red or white sangria all for only $99! Spa Happy Hour is 2:00pm until 6:00pm Monday thru Thursday. Book your appointment by calling 505-984-7997 or online.
