Easy to see why Luminaria has skyrocketed to a top ten rating on tripadvisor. We recently enjoyed a week in SF, and although every meal we had around town was very good, this one topped them all. Open but intimate space with warm ambiance. Delightful and efficient staff. Talented and concerned (healthy/sustainable/local) chef. Every course was great. Glad to add our accolades to others here, for the smoked tomato bisque or the tortilla soup; for the salmon or the Harris beef tenderloin; for the chocolate turtle cake or the amazing chile crème caramel (I never would've thought flan could like that... alternating chile-sauce custard and citrus-sorbet mouthfuls were so unique!)
