Guest Review: Santa Fe Wouldn't Be The Same Without The Inn and Spa at Loretto

If New Mexico is the Land of Enchantment (and it is), then Santa Fe is its heart and The Inn and Spa at Loretto, its soul. The Inn has become our home away from home -- we stayed nine times last year and three times already this year.

Why? We've never slept in more comfortable beds anywhere, and the linens and bathrobes are invitations to relax. Rooms with chairs that are actually comfortable offer a nice respite during the day. The interior decor is what you expect in the Southwest -- warmth and charm that keep inviting you back. The staff enjoys their jobs and is forever accomodating. A few years ago, we left behind a pair of diamond earrings. A call to The Inn the next day brought assurances from housekeeping that they had the earrings and would mail them to us that afternoon. Hospitality is genuine and friendliness, sincere.

Santa Fe is a walking city and The Inn at Loretto is central to about everything. Only a block-and-a-half from the Plaza, The Inn is an inviting retreat throughout the day -- either in the comfort of your room or by the fireplace in the bar.

We are often asked why we don't just get a place in Santa Fe as we visit so frequently and the answer is simple -- "Why when we can stay at The Inn at Loretto?" Or as my sister so often says, "A trip to Santa Fe just wouldn't be the same if we didn't stay at the Inn at Loretto."
